Apex Language Processor - ALP

INTRODUCTION

Apex Language Processor - ALP is character mode Wordprocessor. This allows creating documents in Indian languages. It is possible to work in these scripts using INSCRIPT keyboard overlay or user defined keyboard layout.

Some significant features :

WordStar compatible commands.
Spellcheckers for Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati.
Mail merge helps automate the mailing process.
Quicker document generation through Keyboard Macros.
Easy generation of table of contents.
Convenient formatting using various character attributes and dot commands

ALP is available for MS DOS, UNIX, and Novell Netware. For GIST Card users, ALP comes as part of the package. For the UNIX version, it works only on GIST Terminal.
